The estimate is that it affects 1 in 10 but this figure is likely to be higher as it takes such a long time to be officially diagnosed. The condition which relates to areas in the abdomen bleeding and causing scar tissue and adhesions can be very painful and really affect daily life. The women who are living with this are warriors in my opinion, many of them fight through each day trying to maintain some level of normality. I’ve designed these 2 cards that relate to #endo and I’m over the moon to report that they are now available at Thortful.com -just search endo and they will come up. I’m proud to be raising awareness and hopefully creating something that one friend can send to another as an act of solidarity. For me it has mean’t infertility - but this doesn’t have to be the case for everyone. Better awareness can lead to earlier diagnosis.
